McTimoney Chiropractic

The McTimoney Chiropractic method was developed by John McTimoney in Oxfordshire during the early 1950′s. Swift and precise remarkably gentle adjustments, commonly without any discomfort, are targeted to individual bones and joints – which is why the technique is so well tolerated by animals.

McTimoney Chiropractors assess and treat the whole body, not just the painful region. This is because we believe it is necessary to treat the entire person (or animal) to attain optimal “wellness” for each patient.

Chiropractic treatment can aid in both acute and chronic conditions – indeed many people and owners chose to visit a McTimoney Chiropractor at regular intervals for maintenance care.

Chiropractors are regarded as “Primary Care Providers” which means human patients do not need referral from their G.P.

Under the terms of the Veterinary Surgeons Act, 1966, we may not treat animals without Veterinary Consent.

Since the passing of the 1994 Chiropractic Act all Chiropractors must have received training from a recognized College of Chiropractic and be currently registered with the General Chiropractic Council.
